It’s actually true.
You guys are the reason I get out of bed every single morning.
Each of us have two missions in this life.
One is an individual and personal mission. This is the one most of us spend our young adult life and sometimes longer seeking.
But what comes before that – something way more simple and much more important… that is present from the day we are born.
We often lose sight of it, and get caught up in what we need to have or what we need to do.
Each of us is a human being.
A human being! Our job is “to be”, first! That is our primary mission!
So what does it mean “to be”?
Living in the moment. Feeling. Being mindful. Noticing your senses. Being awake. Opening your heart.
Realizing that we’re all connected and a part of something much bigger than our own individual world. That we can slow down and take the time for one another. That we can be the change.
Sounds simple – but it’s something we often forget.
There’s been many times over the past 4 years that we have worked together as a community. Strangers coming together as friends, to make a difference.
Whether you’ve joined recently, or been with us from the start – YOU are a part of our team and we need you guys to make everything work.
It doesn’t matter whether you order or not. If you connect to our story, and you believe in helping us create more togetherness, more belonging and more support, then you’re helping us achieve our mission. And for that we appreciate you!
Thank you for sharing our posts, nominating families in need, liking our status updates, talking about us with your friends, taking flyers, supporting our farmers, or even growing your own veggies in your backyard! And for just connecting with us!!
Every little bit helps create a world that the next generation (our children) will really be proud of! That’s our mission!
Since September (in just three months) this year – you’ve helped to contribute to 30 families in need, and one family we are giving indefinite weekly support.
That’s a value of $1950 in organics.
30 families are having a tough time, and together as a community we’ve let them know that they’re not alone. That we notice them as people, we notice their struggles, and we reach out to them as a community and say – please don’t feel alone, you belong.
Freaking amazing effort team!
And this is exactly why I get excited to get up each morning, because of YOUR contributions, your support, and your encouragement. You made this happen.
Happy New Year amazing community – we love you all!!!
